Amber Jurgensmeier is a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed Independent Mental Health Professional
(LIMHP), and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).† She received her Bachelor's and Master's
Degrees in Social Work at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.† Amber has worked with at-risk youth and
adults in hospital and group home based settings for over a decade.† She also has experience working in medical
social work settings and enjoys working with older adults.
Most recently, Amber has found her passion and success working with the child/adolescent population. She is trained in behavior modification techniques and has a passion for helping parents create a home environment that results in success for the parent and the child.† Amber is in the process of getting an additional certification in play therapy to help fulfill her passion in working with parents and young children.† It is Amber's goal to provide support and guidance for adolescents and their successful transition into adulthood.
As a licensed alcohol and drug counselor, Amber has experience providing chemical dependency assessments for drug court and the probation system.
