Renae Wortz has over 15 years of experience working in the medical field.† Most recently she has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in a Family Practice clinic.† Furthermore, she has experience working with Hospice patients. Renae completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/English at Cornerstone University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Science degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and is enrolled in a post master's program with plans to complete her board certification in Mental Health.
Renae has always had a strong interest in the mental health field and spent a large portion of her time in Family Practice helping patients manage depression, anxiety, stress, grief, insomnia and other psychiatric diagnoses using a combination of medication and lifestyle coaching. Renae firmly believes in the mind-body connection and often promotes integrative strategies in order to provide a more holistic treatment plan. She also provides highly individualized care and believes that patients can gain control of their own physical and mental health through professional/community support, education, active problem solving, and learning how to change negative and destructive thought patterns. Renae practices with the most current scientific research in mind and always with compassion.
Renae lives with her husband, two children and a new rescue puppy named Maebelle.
