Counseling Connections & Associates is pleased to contract with Beth Farrell, LCSW, LIMHP at our practice.
Beth Farrell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Independent Mental Health Provider. Beth graduated from Louisiana State University with her master’s degree in Social Work. Beth has experience working with adolescents (15 and older), adults, and families who encounter a range of difficulties. Her specialties include depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress/trauma, interpersonal relationship struggles, complex medical concerns, substance use, insomnia, OCD, binge eating disorders, and emotional dysregulation.
Beth's therapy style is laid back and practical. Viewing treatment as a partnership, she works with people to strengthen and find skills to solve and navigate life’s difficulties. Beth’s creative and energetic personality allows for unique evidenced-based interventions that inspire hope and growth.
Beth’s interests outside therapy are training and educating other therapists and students, ensuring a new generation of effective providers. Beth has a podcast and has been featured on KMTV3, Ask UNMC, and in the Omaha World-Herald where she shares practical advice for making wellness changes and improving your quality of life. She would love the honor of working with you!
Beth uses several evidence-based approaches to treat mental health including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI)
