Counseling Connections & Associates is pleased to contract with Michelle Bedore, MA, LIMHP at our practice.
Michelle is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. Michelle completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and then pursued her Masters from Argosy University in Denver. For the last 7 years, she has worked at an outpatient mental health clinic treating a wide range of mental health issues from serious and persistent mental health disorders to general mental health issues. She has treated patients from 6 years of age to 86, including individuals and couples.
Michelle treats individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, emotional disturbances, relationship stress, and phase of life difficulties. She also works with couples who are experiencing marital difficulties, communication issues, and working to resolve conflict.
Michelle’s approach encompasses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness-Based practices. She views her role in the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative approach and is genuine in helping people gain perspective and awareness of their own behaviors and coping skills.
